The Mazandaran Roxane Line
The Mazandaran Roxane Collection is a Djoharian Design line of oversized hand-woven kilims inspired by the panel and checkerboard idioms of the Caspian region of northern Iran. These flatweaves combine ancient tribal weaving traditions with a sophisticated Scandinavian-Art-Deco aesthetic, making them an architectural foundation for contemporary interiors. The kilims are hand-woven from hand-spun wool, with a clean panel composition that reads as both tribal and minimalist.
This piece is the Red and Grey variant in the 10 × 13 ft format — the most accessible size in the Mazandaran Roxane line, sized for generous living and dining rooms.
Colour and Composition
The palette pairs sophisticated red panels with quiet grey grounds in a clean checkerboard rhythm. The flat-weave construction gives the surface an ultra-thin, almost graphic presence (height approx. 0,3 cm), while the hand-spun wool retains a subtle textural variation that no machine-made flatweave can replicate.

Purchases above EUR 1,000.00 must be declared to the German Customs office. Please allow two additional business days for processing the Export Declaration Form prior to shipment.
