The sample rug 1x1 ft / 30x30 cm is in stock for shipping. You can order this sample size to check and confirm the quality and color at your home.
We will refund the complete payment for the sample if it is returned to us (return shipping paid by the customer). In case you decide to order a rug in this quality, the paid price for the sample will be subtracted.
Our rugs from the Perfect Plains Collection are hand knotted in Nepal, Kathmandu by excellent artisans.
Why bamboo silk? Bamboo silk is a renewable raw material; the climate-damaging greenhouse gas is stored in the material - similar to wood.
The feel is particularly soft and cozy thanks to the use of the finest materials. The carpet is approx. 08-10 mm high.

This contemporary plain rug design from the Djoharian Collection is hand knotted in extra fine 100 knot per square inch quality, all made of hand spun bamboo silk.
Due to the elegant shimmer and luster of the material, the surface looks like it has a silver layer from one side of the rug and a dark, intensive vibrant look from the other side.
The Perfect Plain Collection by Djoharian Design consists of 21 different color shades. The color of this rug is Ice Water. It is a very light greenish mint tone.
If you are unsure about the color due to the color setting of your computer screen, you can order a sample piece in 1 x 1 ft. We will credit the purchase price of you decide to buy the larger rug then.
The displayed rug is made of 100% organic bamboo silk. Total pile height about 1/3 inch, Knot density 100 Tibetan knots per square inch. Bamboo silk has little unevenness in the material and color, this might be visible in the pile.
This rug has a fantastic feel, very soft and smooth. We can produce this design in sizes up to 20 x 16 ft on order. Other color combinations are possible. Trade and interior designers welcome.
